My name is Alex Roh and I am the owner of alexpicks.com.  I began trading stocks in 1996. Through many costly failures at the early stage of my trading career, I have realized that I needed a mathematical market timing system discounting any human factor in order to make money in the stock market.  Since then, developing market timing systems has been my hobby.
  

While working in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment field, I spent most of my free time in developing and testing market timing systems using real money in my online brokerage account.  My main goal was to develop a timing system that will accurately detect every major market turn.  When I was confident that I finally came up with such timing system, I have started demonstrating it in summer of 2006 by launching this website, alexpicks.com.

My long term market signals can be used to manage 401K account, stocks or ETFs.  Managing my own 401k account by strictly following the long term signals kept me from a disastrous result many people experienced in 2008.  All I had to do was to move in and out of the market based on my long term signals.  In addition, I have managed to post a healthy gain in my other personal account where I traded only two ETFs using the strategies explained below:

     DDM  -  Buy when up signal is triggered, then sell when down signal is triggered.

     DXD  -  Buy when down signal is triggered, then sell when up signal is triggered.
